Fort Collins DermatologistJoseph V. Lillis, MD

Dr. Joseph V. Lillis is a board-certified Fort Collins Dermatologist offering expertise in all areas of dermatology including skin cancer surveillance, medical dermatology, and Mohs surgery. A graduate of Georgetown University Medical School, Dr. Lillis did his dermatology residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year.

He has since worked as an assistant clinical professor in the Division of Dermatology at The University of California San Diego Medical Center and in private practice at San Luis Dermatology & Laser Clinic in San Luis Obispo, California, and at Lake Loveland Dermatology in Loveland, Colorado. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, serves as a manuscript reviewer for the British Journal of Dermatology, and has spoken at national and regional dermatology conferences. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Medical Association and a member of the Colorado Dermatologic Society. In addition, he is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and has performed over 3500 Mohs cases.  He performs Mohs Surgery in Fort Collins on site at his Harmony Campus location.

Raised in Loveland CO, Dr. Lillis returned home to Northern Colorado in July of 2014 and founded Colorado Dermatology Group in 2016.

When not at work, his favorite days are those spent hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park with his wife and two young children.

 Dr. Brooke Caufield is a board-certified Dermatologist in Fort Collins, offering expertise in medical and procedural dermatology. Dr. Caufield did her dermatology residency while serving in the US Navy at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California.

Dr. Caufield comes to Fort Collins after serving as a physician in the Navy for ten years. During her military career, she provided medical care to military members and their families at several Navy bases across the country, and she helped set up a medical clinic during a tour of duty in Afghanistan.  She has published several articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, has spoken at national and regional conferences, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Caufield works alongside Dr. Lillis in their Fort Collins dermatology clinic.

Dr. Caufield likes the great variety of cases seen in the practice of dermatology and treats a wide range of skin conditions in all age groups.  She develops care plans to fit each patient’s lifestyle and empowers her patients in the treatment of their conditions.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Caufield enjoys exploring Colorado with her husband Sean, a Loveland native, and their two children.
